PoLAN   Power over LAN

The new standard IEEE 802.3af enables the power transmission over standard LAN Ethernet cable to supply network equipment with the sufficient power.
Power can be transmitted over the two normally not used pairs in the LAN cable or alternately in parallel over the Ethernet data pairs.

Typical supply voltage: 48V DC (44 .. 57VDC)
Power: max. about 15 Watts

Normally auto sensing features detect the Power over LAN ability before supplying the in-line power.
